Examples: Given all of the givens which stores better? Is there such a thing as a propane conversion for a generator or are there propane generators already? Diesel and kero some what longer. Amoco White, and Coleman fuel probably fairly well. Gasoline, now days, doesn't store very well at all. In 1999, I bought a solar flash light, and a solar thing that charges a couple C, D, or AA cells. And a solar radio. Guess what... I've not actively used any of them. Nice to have them, regardless. Solar has the advantage that it never runs out (on sunny days) but it is quite expensive, compared to grid electric, or gas at the pump. Would be more useful in a long term outage. Christopher A.
