ARCTIC WARM UP BLOOD BATH:
Many years ago a man tried walking on grease or thin ice and he fell through. Luckily his friends were near by and were able to fish him out quickly although by then he was half dead, extremely cold water will kill you in 3 minutes.
The hunting party had just killed a sea elephant, so they slit the belly of the sea elephant open and put the man inside. Two hours later, he was walking about again but he stank terrible for weeks.
Maybe it could even be done with any big deer or bear, walrus or seal, should you have just killed them, thus their warmth would or could save a friend through this unusual blood bath.
