Howdy Ya'll,

We have a new tourniquet that we have been using for a couple of months. It is 1 handed operation, very fast to get on, extremely effective, and looks like it would be easy to make at home. I do not know who makes it, but here are some pics of it.

Step one - insert the limb
-

Step two - pull to tighten. As all the slack is removed, rock your hand side to side to really "ratchet" down on the limb and create extraordinary pressure with the tourniquet

I used only minimal pressure when putting this on my wife and immediately lost any palpable radial pulse.
