Abdominal X-ray

An abdominal X-ray is a valuable diagnostic tool. It is quick, informative, and much less expensive than some more recently developed scanning techniques such as MRI and CT scans. All three techniques have their applications vs. advantages. Abdominal X-rays can provide information about obstructions, tumors, and other diseases, especially when coupled with the use of barium and air contrast within the bowel.
