Use: Ambrotose AO capsules helps protect both water and fat soluble portions of cells from free radical attacks while supporting your immune system. ** Defend your health by supporting overall immune function through the natural glyconutrients in Ambrotose® complex. ** Protect against the daily onslaught of toxins, poor food, stress and the environment, all of which contribute to an increase in free radicals, accelerating the aging process. ** Help restore cellular damage and the overall balance your body may have lost due to the harmful effect of free radical damage that results from pollutants in the air we breathe, the water we drink and the lives we live. **
Directions: The recommended intake of Ambrotose AO capsules is one capsule two times daily.
Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC) can be used to assess the antioxidant status of human blood and serum. One recent study reported that increasing fruit and vegetable consumption from the usual five to an experimental ten servings per day over two weeks can increase serum ORAC values by roughly 13%. 1 In an open-label pilot study of 12 healthy human volunteers, the antioxidant effects of increasing amounts of supplementation with Ambrotose AO were evaluated. A battery of tests was selected in order to assess both oxidative damage and protection. Independent companies were contracted to conduct blood and urine chemistry tests and statistical data analyses. An increase in ORAC (beta)-PE , a measure of oxidative protection, was found at all three doses: 19.1% at 500 mg per day, 37.4% at 1.0 g per day, and 14.3% at 1.5 g per day. A trend of decreased urinary lipid hydroperoxides/creatinine, a marker of oxidative damage, was observed as well. No significant trends were found in regard to urinary alkenal or 8-OHdG levels. 2 Thus, over the same time period, 1.0 g per day of Ambrotose AO provided over twice the antioxidant protection (37.4%) provided by 5 servings of fruits and vegetables (13%).
