Uses: · Significantly improves the appearance of existing scars · Helps prevent the formation of scars on newly healed wounds
Neosporin Scar Solution Silicone Scar Sheets are indicated for use on raised and discolored scars. Silicone sheet technology is clinically proven to significantly improve the appearance of scars and has been used by burn centers and plastic surgeons for years. Each sheet is thin, self-adhesive and fabric-backed, which makes Neosporin Scar Solution convenient to wear under clothing.
Neosporin Scar Solution sheets use patented Silon ® technology, and are believed to mimic the natural barrier function of normal skin- improving the appearance of scars, both new and old. Silicone sheets have been shown to improve the appearance of scars, even those that are years old.
One package of Neosporin Scar Solution provides the full, 12-week supply recommended to improve the appearance of scars.
Neosporin Scar Solution sheets are effective on keloids and hypertrophic scars, which are distinguished by a raised and discolored appearance. These scars may result from burns, surgical procedures and minor skin injuries.
Neosporin Scar Solution sheets are effective on existing scars and may help prevent the formation of scars on newly closed, dry wounds.
When used as directed, Neosporin Scar Solution sheets can be used on any part of the body. For certain body parts (such as flexible joints), medical tape may be used to hold sheets in place.
Although Neosporin Scar Solution sheets may be worn while exercising or bathing, it is recommended that sheets be removed.
Yes, Neosporin Scar Solution sheets can be used for various sizes of scars; however, the sheet should extend completely around the scarred area.
