       (Anchusa officinalis) also called German madwort or the European
    hawkweed, grows just about anywhere. This herb is used in a tea* as an
    expectorant, a diuretic*, a diaphoretic and for nervous complaints such
    as tension or melancholy. It is also useful as an emollient in oils for
    bruises and other skin hurts.
