Overview   

Neurogenic bladder

Definition:

A urinary bladder problem in which the bladder empties spontaneously. It is often caused by a nervous system tumor or by paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. The number of bladder infections can be reduced, and normal kidney function can be aided, by routine and complete emptying of the bladder.
