Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome

Treatment:

Bleeding in vital areas must be corrected surgically. Frequent or heavy nosebleeds (epistaxis) may be treated with electrocautery or laser.

Expectations (prognosis):

Barring a fatal intracranial hemorrhage, this syndrome is compatible with a normal lifespan.

Complications:

  • internal hemorrhaging
