Herpangina
Symptoms:
- sudden onset of high fever
- sore throat or painful swallowing
- headache (may or may not be present)
- appearance of lesions on the tongue, soft palate, tonsils, or inside the cheeks or gums.
Signs and tests:
Tests are not normally necessary.
