Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis

Treatment:
No specific therapy for SSPE exists. Supportive therapy is indicated as symptoms appear. Treatment with inosiplex (an antiviral drug) has been tried but results are pending.
Expectations (prognosis):
SSPE is always fatal.
