Creeping eruption

cutaneous larvae migrans
Symptoms:
- history of exposure to hookworm contaminated soil or vegetation
- rapidly changing, raised, snakelike tracks in the skin
- itching (pruritus) at the site of penetration of the larvae and along the migratory path of the larvae
- possible blister formation along the migratory path
Signs and tests:
This condition is diagnosed based on findings done during a clinical examination. No laboratory testing is necessary.
