Symptoms:
- constant tugging, pulling, or twisting of hair
- moth-eaten appearance to hair
- bare patches to diffuse loss of hair
- hair regrowth in the bare spots that feels like stubble
Signs and tests:
A biopsy--may be done to rule out other causes.
