Question:
Is drinking wine good for your health?

Answer:
There is a fine line between healthy drinking and risky drinking. While there is some evidence that suggests you can lower your risk of heart attack and strokes with one to two drinks a day, having more than two drinks a day has been linked to high blood pressure, cancer, and liver disease. Also, light drinking can lead to eventual dependency. Pregnant women need to avoid alcohol consumption altogether. See alcohol and diet.
