Question:
Where do most skin cancers usually appear on the body?

Answer:
Skin cancers that are NOT malignant (cancerous) generally appear on areas of the skin that get a lot of sun exposure. Malignant skin cancers are most often found on the back in men and on the legs in women. Benign moles are usually small, symmetrical and a single shade of brown with even edges. Malignant melanomas tend to be larger than a pencil eraser and have two or more colors (usually black and brown) as well as uneven edges. See malignant melanoma.
