Antibiotics overdose
Definition:
Poisoning from a one time overdose of an antibiotic, either by swallowing, injection, or application to skin or mucous membranes (such as the lining of the mouth, or the nose).
Poisonous ingredient:
- erythromycin
- penicillin
- cephalosporin (e.g., cephalosporin - oral)
- aminoglycoside
- various other groups of antibiotics
