Cervical stenosis (scarring), which may make it more difficult to get pregnant, or cause increased cramping with menstrual periods

Cost:

Because cryotherapy is performed in your doctor's office and with local anesthesia, the cost will be significantly lower than other treatments done in a hospital under general anesthesia. This procedure is rarely done in the hospital.

Insurance coverage for surgery expenses depends on many factors and should be explored for each individual circumstance.
