Call your health care provider if:


This condition is something that a child is born with, or that develops slowly. Mention it to the health care provider during a routine visit.

What to expect at your health care provider's office:


The health-care provider will obtain a medical history will be obtained and a
physical examination performed. Medical history questions documenting claw foot in detail may include:

  • time pattern
    • When did you first notice this?
    • Is it getting worse?
  • location
    • Does it affect both feet?
  • other
    • Do other symptoms occur at the same time?

The physical examination will probably include extra attention to the feet (and hands).After seeing you health care provider,you may want to add a diagnosis related to claw foot to your personal medical record.
