Normal values:

Nonreactive or a serum titer of less than 1:256 is normal.

What abnormal results mean:

A titer of 1:128 is borderline and repeat testing is indicated. A positive serology can help confirm the diagnosis of Lyme disease, but it is not definitive. Other diseases and high rheumatoid factors can cause false positives.
