Hypersensitivity pneumonitis

Treatment:
The objective of treatment is to identify the offending allergen and avoid further exposure to the allergen once it is identified. A change of occupations is indicated in some cases. In severe cases, steroids may be given for 4 to 6 weeks.
Expectations (prognosis):
Most symptoms resolve after exposure to the allergen is limited.
