Signs and tests:
An eye examination of the eyes may show changes. Eye movement is decreased, except for normal abduction (looking away from the center of the body). The gaze is dysconjugate--that is, the eyes are not aligned. Pupil reaction is normal. Sometimes eye pain is also reported.
