Chronic motor tic disorder
Alternative names:
chronic vocal tic disorder
Definition:
A disorder characterized by rapid, recurrent motor movements or vocal outbursts (but not both) that have been present nearly every day for more than a year.
Causes, incidence, and risk factors:
The incidence of chronic motor or vocal tic disorder is greater than Tourette's Disorder. The incidence of this disorder range from 1 to 2%.
