Treatment:
Various surgeries have been devised to improve blood flow to the lungs. As a rule they are age specific.
Expectations (prognosis):
Improvement can be expected with most surgical procedures. Unexpected death may occur with heart arrhythmias.

This disorder is usually discovered at birth or on routine examination near the time of birth. Call your baby's health care provider if problems or new symptoms develop.
