Hypospadias
Symptoms:
- opening of the penis is NOT at the tip of the penis but is displaced to the downward side or bottom of the penis
- penis has a marked curvature downward
- penis looks hooded and bent down at a sharp angle at its tip
- child has to sit down to void
Signs and tests:
For hypospadias occurring at the base of the penis, urological studies may be indicated.
