Question:
Is there any way to prevent jet lag?

Answer:
  • Try to choose flights that arrive as close to night time as possible.
  • Maintain a sensible bedtime schedule.
  • Don't avoid sleeping prior to a trip in order to make yourself tired.
  • Drink plenty of liquids but avoid alcohol to prevent dehydration.
  • Avoid napping, which will delay your adjustment to the new time.
  • Exercise. If you usually exercise then do so at your destination.
  • For important meetings at your destination, try to arrive early.
  • For short trips, maintain your old schedule of eating and sleeping at your usual time, if possible.
