Ovarian growth worries

Information:

Question:
Is an ovarian growth something to worry about?

Answer:
A mass (aggregation of cells) on the ovary that is smaller than 2 centimeters is probably a follicle cyst (sac or pouch) and doesn't need medical attention. However, if the growth is larger and doesn't go away then you may need to have it removed. See ovarian cysts.
