Normal values:
An increase in cortisol after stimulation by ACTH is normal.
Blood cortisol: 5 to 20 mcg/dl in the morning 3 to 15 mcg/dl in the afternoon
Urine: 10 to 90 mcg/dl
Note: mcg/dl = micrograms per deciliter
