Symptoms:
- known exposure to unpasteurized milk or milk products
- draining lymph nodes, cervical (neck) lymph nodes draining through ulcerations in the skin
- possible mild elevation of temperature, especially in the afternoon
Signs and tests:
- culture, drainage from neck (grows Mycobacterium tuberculosis)
- TB tine (skin test positive for mycobacterial infection)
- PPD (skin test positive for mycobacterial infection)
