Information:

Definition:
The cone shaped neck of the uterus which protrudes into the vagina. It is about one inch long, and is penetrated by the cervical canal (the os) which allows for the menstrual period and fetus to pass from the uterus into the vagina, and for sperm to pass from the vagina into the uterus.
