			 Signs and tests:
			A physical examination reveals enlarged thyroid gland and delayed muscular reflexes. Vital signs (temperature, pulse, rate of breathing, blood pressure) may reveal slow heart rate, low blood pressure, and low temperature. A chest X-ray may reveal an enlarged heart.
